MAC Cosmetics - Are Your MAC Make-up Products Authentic?

We've been doing business online selling discount cosmetics since 2007. We got our start on ebay, and for anyone who loves MAC Cosmetics and shops on ebay, you'll know when we tell you that there are a lot of fakes out there being passed off as the real thing. The fakes have gotten so great, it's often hard to tell the difference.

We wanted to show you some YouTube videos or give you some photos and ideas of what exactly to look for when you determine if your MAC makeup is real or fake, but much of the information online is horribly outdated and/or incorrect. Also, when MAC changes how they package their products, what used to look like an authentic item, will look fake, and vice versa.

So, if you really want to know if your MAC Make up is authentic, do what we do. Have it authenticated at your local MAC Cosmetics store. Just take your make-up items to the mall or other MAC Cosmetics store location and ask them to authenticate your products for you. They will let you know if your cosmetics are the real deal or complete phonies.

It's important to note that, if you're buying your MAC Cosmetics online, use a service such as paypal whenever possible. That way, if your cosmetics turn out to be totally fake, you'll have an easier time getting your money back.

On the flip side, as an online retailer, the amount of misinformation on the web about authentic vs. fake MAC has actually harmed our business. We go through great pains to ensure that our MAC, and our other designer merchandise, is 100% authentic, and often, the wrong online information via videos, articles, and hear say has caused some of our own customers to wrongly assert that we sold them a fake product. Don't trust the online sources to help you determine whether or not your cosmetics are the real thing. If you aren't sure about the authenticity, have them checked by the companies themselves. This is true for cosmetics as well as designer handbags. Have your products authenticated before you demand a refund and possibly return a perfectly good, authentic product. It hurts you and the retailer.

While we want everyone to be able to afford their designer merchandise and cosmetics, we also want you all to get the authentic products, and not the knock-offs. Discount or not, you deserve the best. :)

Ciao, bella.
