This time, it's Heidi Klum. It's amazing how, after babies and the passage of time, she is aging gracefully. She seems a bit skinny in the face to me, at least in this picture, but she's a beautiful woman none-the-less. Those I have spoken to who have met her say she's a lovely and kind woman. And wow, do her eyes ever pop in this photo with her own version of the Smoky Eye!
The article says to use Victoria's Secret black eyeliner pencil. Yes, Victoria's Secret has make up now. But we think that MAC Cosmetics black eyeliner is still the best option for makeup to achieve this lovely smoky eye look. What do you think?

What a wonderful mother/daughter bonding experience. What's better is that the clothing line is set to be affordable, and not expensive designer wear. This is crucial for anyone in this tough economy, but even more important for young teenagers whose parents can't afford the finer things in life. In fact, most of us can't afford those finer things these days.
Kudos to Madonna and Lola for their joint venture together. We wish them all the luck.
Marie Claire features Jessica Simpson without make-up on, with a photo that wasn't re-touched in any photo editing software on the cover of the magazine, so the claim has been made.
It's not just Jessica, either. The entire issue of Marie Claire is full of photos that haven't been retouched.
New York Magazine makes an excellent point, however, about this seemingly bold move:
"...maybe they could go a step further and try not retouching women who aren't in their twenties, and show those signs of age most magazines would like us to believe are freakish and not normal."
Excellent point. In fact, I would go a step further and ask that they not retouch their celebrities who are much older, say in their 50s...Or maybe that's asking too much. After all, I barely have the courage to allow a photo taken of me without make-up for the family photo album.
I really love the smokey eye look in this image to the right. I found this photo via Zemanta on flickr. The photo is called Carbon Black M.A.C. Eyeshadow Smokey Eyes, by dreamglow pumpkincat210. I think the smokey eye look really complements her green eyes, or maybe it's just the green eye that I like so much. I really can't decide which it is. But I'm sure you'll agree, this image and make-up job is fantastic, and was done entirely by using MAC Cosmetics. She also has several other photos of make-overs and eye make-up tricks she's done, so go check out her page and her photos. You'll find some great eye make-up tips and techniques there.
Not into this particular smokey eye? Check out a few more examples on Google images. As you can see, there are various ways to achieve this look using various shades of gray, black, and even purples and violets. Some use matte shades, while others add a bit of shimmer to their look. There are a number of styles to the smokey eye, and your options are limitless.
